H A P P Y V A L E N T I N E S!

we had a few little friends over for a Valentine's Party! sparrow was so excited about having a 'party' and helped me put together the fruit kabobs and decorate the table, it was so precious! i made strawberry cupcakes with vanilla frosting and let the littles decorate their own cupcakes ~ and they also made valentines (i cut out hearts out of left over red + polka dot butcher paper from Christmas)!

all the littles ended up in sparrow's room (my plan all along! :) ) playing with all of her toys and jumping on her bed - they were all giggling so much i didn't have the heart to stop them. :) afterwards we took advantage of the beautiful weather and headed to the park - and i snuck in a mini photo shoot!

Hope you all have a wonderful Valentine's Day!! it's a family holiday in our home, we just keep it simple, we always make chocolate covered strawberries and exchange little gifts!

a family date at the DMA



 

we scooted down to dallas for the afternoon - took sparrow to the  Dallas Museum of Art(it's free now, so I love using it on rainy/snowy/too cold to play outside days), it was so good for her to just be able to run around and climb stairs and look at colorful paintings - and then play at the kylde warren park. we got all of her endless toddler energy out - and then enjoyed a late lunch at taco diner! Yum! :)

21 weeks.

last night we snuck out for a little date ~ Christopher's mom is in town visiting, so she stayed and played with sparrow. we had a leisurely meal + a movie. in almost 6 years of being together we have never been the movie/dinner kind of date type. but, it was still so lovely just to spend sometime together - and actually have a conversation at a restaurant! :)

my bump has finally made an appearance!! and I love it!! this little one is constantly moving, dancing, and kicking!! I realized we hadn't taken many photos of this pregnancy - things are just moving so fast for us this time around. but, I plan on just packing my camera in my purse for those happenstance moments!! :)
